Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Psychology Team who are looking to recruit a part-time Team Administrator to join our friendly but fast paced team. We are looking for someone available to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, working 30hours per week.

The post holder must have experience of working within an administrative environment and will be working closely with the clinicians. You will need to have a warm and professional manner; the successful candidate will be working as part of a team and therefore being a team player is essential as well as having the ability to work independently with good IT skills.

Main duties of the job
To provide a confidential and courteous administrative and secretarial support to the Mid and North Psychological Therapy Teams, this includes sending correspondence on behalf of the clinicians, arranging appointments, answering the telephone and additional administrative tasks.
To liaise with users of the service, carers and other voluntary and non-statutory agencies.
Ensure a friendly and professional ethos within the team/department for patients and staff.
To time manage and prioritise own work, using initiative consistently. To coordinate an appropriate diary management system and effective efficient use of office space for the clinical team.
To act as a point of contact for the Therapy Teams and able to respond within the agreed guidelines using own initiative.
Only open to current employees of Hampshire & Isle of Wight NHS system, which is limited to: Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Healthcare FT, Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, University Hospital Southampton FT, South Central Ambulance Service or Hampshire Hospitals FT.
