Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive GP Assistant to join our friendly and busy GP Practice.
General Practice Assistants form part of a multi-disciplinary team within primary care, and provide a support role, carrying out administrative tasks, combined with basic clinical duties, helping to free up GPs time and contribute to the smooth running of appointments and improving patients' experience.
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and organisation skills, and have the ability to work as part of an integrated multi-skilled team, within a fast-paced environment. Flexibility is essential along with being an effective team player.
Main duties of the job
The GPA will support the GP smooth running of clinics by performing the more routine administration and clinical tasks on behalf of the GP freeing up their time to focus on the patient
