Undergraduate Placement - Commercial Development

Job summary

The Commercial Development Placement will provide crucial support to the Associate Director of Estates - Commercial in identifying, analysing, and developing commercial opportunities across the Trust's estate portfolio. This role will contribute to the development of sustainable and innovative solutions that optimise estate utilisation while generating value for the Trust. The role holder will help research and evaluate emerging technologies and digital solutions that can enhance estate efficiency, environmental sustainability, and improve both patient care and staff working environments. Working within the Estates team, they will gain valuable experience in healthcare estate management while supporting the delivery of commercial initiatives that align with the Trust's strategic objectives.

Main duties of the job

Support the development and evaluation of commercial opportunities within the estate portfolio

Assist in analysing market trends and identifying potential areas for commercial development

Help research and assess new technologies and digital solutions for estate management

Support the development of business cases for approved commercial initiatives
