Population Health Operations Manager

As a part of the leadership team, you will be responsible for a portfolio of elements of the service, including data quality assurance, population health data analysis, oversight of commercial contracts and the operational support functions of one of our geographical localities (Southampton locality), including ensuring good operational governance and high-quality delivery of services.

The purpose of this role is to act as part of the service leadership team, and to support the Business Managers in the commercial aspects of the running of the Sexual Health and HIV Service across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight (HIOW).

This is a full time post and travel will be required to support across the service.

Main duties of the job

Data Quality

Working with the HIOW System data group and the organisations Performance Team to ensure that data reporting both internally and externally to Commissioners and national agencies (e.g. UKHSA) is accurate and timely.

Data Analysis

Analysis and interpretation of internal and public health originated data to provide insight and direction for service development, targeted working and effective health promotion and STI/HIV and unplanned pregnancy prevention work.

Support quality improvement interventions by providing analysis and presentation of data.

Promote service improvement, using innovative techniques for presenting information including productivity, forecasting and capacity & demand.

Planning and Organisation

Planning, monitoring, delivering, and evaluating of strategic projects or initiatives, using project management methodologies.

Plans operational activities or programmes of work which impact across or within departments, services or agencies.

To support Business Managers in operationally leading on the safe running of the service in the allocated geographical area, including workforce planning, managing incidents, budget management support.

Management

Line management of the business support/administration team in their locality or portfolio

Commercial

With the support of the Commercial Business Partner, lead on contract management of allocated sub-contracts and commissioned services.
