Job summary
We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor to join our Portsmouth MSK team sites. We are looking for a highly skilled, dynamic and motivated individual who has a passion for exercise and the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong organisation and communication skills. Your role with include a rich mix of class, group and 1:1 sessions so experience of delivering exercise based rehabilitation is essential. You will be welcomed into a highly experienced team of physiotherapists and clinical specialists where your rehabilitation skills will be invaluable. You will find the environment welcoming, inclusive and supportive. There is ample opportunity for you to receive regular 1:1 supervision, training and other development opportunities.
Main duties of the job
To co-ordinate and conduct rehabilitation programmes for patients under the guidance of the Physiotherapists
To be a resource for the continued training to physiotherapy staff in the use of safe and effective exercise rehabilitation
To contribute and develop both policies and procedures for the use of the gym and rehabilitation protocols
Co-ordinate the use of the gym with patient and staff groups
