Job summary

This is an internal job only. You will have been a band 3 within the Continence Service. Do you feel ready for the next step in your career, do you feel that you have the skills to support and help develop your band 3 colleges on their NHS career journeys.

You would need the ability to work unsupervised, to prioritise your workload, have excellent communication skills and an interest and enthusiasm to promote continence.

Main duties of the job

To promote continence and provide health education ensuring patient independence, and or management of continence with individuals including those who lack mental capacity.

To assess continence effectively for specific patients under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Specialist and use evidence based practice to manage the patient within the scope of your role.

To work within the integrated team to ensure a high quality specialist continence service, focusing on privacy and dignity and promoting continence awareness

Our new Trust will continue to cater to the unique needs of different communities, making healthcare across the county more accessible, as well as offering staff more opportunities for career development, training and partnership working.

  • Educated to a good standard, NVQ 2 or above.
  • Knowledge of Rio.

Desirable

  • Must have at least a years experience of working in the specialism of Continence.
