Job summary

We are looking for a proactive, highly motivated individual with excellent IT skills, particularly in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support service to the senior management team.

You will be an excellent communicator with outstanding organisational skills, able to use your own initiative, work well under pressure, able to manage workload on a daily basis and prioritise tasks.

You will need to provide high quality administrative and support services and be able to function in a service area that requires flexibility, adaptability and commitment.

A full valid driving licence with access for a car is essential as travelling to attend meeting is a requirement of the post.

Main duties of the job

To support the Senior Management Team within the Service in all aspects of business management activity relating to functions and responsibilities, including the development and management of a comprehensive and efficient PA support service.

The final combination of Southern Health and Solent NHS Trust services is expected in late 2024, when our new organisation, to be known as Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, will be formed.

Our new Trust will continue to cater to the unique needs of different communities, making healthcare across the county more accessible, as well as offering staff more opportunities for career development, training and partnership working.
