Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Southern Health Foundation Trust to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker to join the South East Hants Community Nursing Team as a Phlebotomist .The role will be to cover Phlebotomy needs across the stated areas in peoples own homes. Covering Havant/Waterlooville/Hayling Island/Bordon/Petersfield/Fareham and Gosport.

We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a busy team, to deliver a high standard of Phlebotomy skills across community.
The post holder must have relevant experience in Phlebotomy and an interest in this area of care within a patient's home setting or demonstrate a proactive attitude to learning the skills required to fulfil the role.
Access to a vehicle and possession of a full driving license with business insurance is essential.
This is for 20 hours a week.

Main duties of the job
Work as part of an integrated primary health care team to provide care to people in the community including residential care.
Carry out blood tests at the request of GP Practices
To maintain own Continuing Professional Development.
To actively participate and contribute to team working in response to service developments and the business plan.
To manage own workload.
