Job summary
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and skilled nurse or social worker who can contribute to the smooth running and future developments of the team.
The role of a Team Leader within the CMHT is varied and interesting, the successful candidate will be expected to provide clinical and operational leadership in the day to day running of the team, managing referrals, monitoring team workload, allocating tasks, staff support and ensuring duties are discharged safely and effectively.
It is a friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team which the successful candidate will be at the heart of promoting recovery and supporting the team.
Main duties of the job
To provide clinical and managerial leadership to the day-to-day operation of the integrated clinical team, monitoring workload, allocating duties and ensuring duties are discharged safely and effectively.
To supervise the day-to-day work of the clinical team, and provide expertise and guidance in complex and high risk cases, in line with Trust and Local Authority policies and procedures.
To champion a culture based on principles of recovery, choice and personalised care, providing a role model to the rest of the team.
To take a proactive approach to caseload supervision and management to ensure that practitioner skills are matched to clinical need, and that service users are able to 'flow' through pathways of care.
To deputise for the CMHT Manager as required.
Successful candidates will also work closely with our practice educator to support the team in learning but also to maximise their own learning opportunities in this leadership role.
