Job summary
We are looking for an eRostering Trainer to join our busy Team. If you have experience in delivering systems training and are familiar with eRostering you could be what we are looking for.
You will be responsible for the development and delivery of eRoster courses, refresher courses and user groups to ensure our users have the skills and knowledge to roster in line with Policy and deliver an efficient service. Currently training is delivered via zoom, however, there may also be bespoke sessions required which may necessitate in person delivery at the users site, or via Microsoft Teams. Our work base is Moorgreen Hospital but the post holder will also be able to work from home.
Main duties of the job
To lead on the provision of eRostering training across the Trust, ensuring there is sufficient courses to meet the needs of the services and these are planned in advanced and available for booking through the Trust training system.
To improve and develop the ways in which training is provided.
To develop different medias and platforms to deliver rostering skills to users and managers.
Where appropriate to provide tailored courses to meet the needs of specific groups.
To ensure all end user documentation is up to date and in line with the most recent release, is available and accessible through the staff intranet.
To be responsible for maintaining the eRostering pages on the staff intranet.
To be responsible for running the roster finalisation process and ensuring the extraction of time and attendance and absence reports are completed in adherence to the agreed timetable.
To run the monthly expenses extract.
To support with the mappings on the NHSP interface portal.
To support, when necessary, with the eRostering and e-expenses group mail, ensuring emails are answered in a timely manner.

The final combination of Southern Health and Solent Trusts is anticipated to occur in July 2024, when the new organisation will be formed.
Our new Trust will continue to cater to the unique needs of different communities, making healthcare across the county more accessible, as well as offering staff more opportunities for career development, training and partnership working.
