Job summary
North Hampshire CAMHS Early Help Service are looking for an experienced children and adolescent Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist to join our team full time as a band 7 Senior Primary Mental Health Worker. You will need to be registered with your governing body, and have CAMHS or relevant Mental Health experience.

You will be joining and helping lead a friendly, supportive and creative multi-disciplinary team, dedicated to providing a high-quality service to our young people.
Your base will be in Basingstoke.
We are excited to be a developing service, introducing a new model of stepped care within the service. You will support the delivery of contributing to triaging new cases in the short term, initial assessments, psycho-education workshops ,therapeutic group work, some community based activities and other activities as they are developed within the team. Some opportunity may exist to hold a small case load.
Main duties of the job
*To provide clinical supervision, line management and leadership to other members of the Primary Mental Health workforce.
*To be part of the Primary Mental Health Work leadership team and participate in the development of the service
*To provide a community based primary mental health service for children and young people as part of the primary tier of CAMHS.
*To offer consultation and advice to primary care workers on all aspects of mental health and well being of children and their families.
*To direct children and their families to the most appropriate service in order to meet their emotional needs.
