Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full Time/Part Time (will be considered) Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Inpatient Therapy Team based at Lymington New Forest Hospital. The Therapy Team delivers the highest quality of care to acutely unwell patients across our medical and rehabilitation wards. The team consists of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Rehabilitation Assistants and an Apprentice Occupational Therapist.
You will have experience in acute medical, respiratory and inpatient or community rehabilitation of the older person. In particular, experience with older adults presenting with complex frailty and social issues would be an advantage.

Main duties of the job
The position will assist the Therapy Team Lead to deliver high quality inter-professional care to both acute medical and rehabilitation patients at Lymington New Forest Hospital. The role also involves close working links with the community teams and Romsey and Hampshire County Council.
The Therapy Team is part of a strong allied health professional workforce in The New Forest. Lymington New Forest Hospital is a 75 bedded unit with outstanding facilities.

The successful candidate will have monthly supervisions with their team lead, participate in the regular department and in-service training programme.
