West CAMHS Early Help Service Support Worker

Job summary
West Hampshire CAMHS Early Help Service are looking for a Band 3 support worker to join us, to support the delivery of a range of interventions to children and young people. This post will support us to expand and develop our stepped model of care for young people, delivering our various anxiety-based groups and emotional coping skills and resilience focused work. You will support the teams working in schools and clinics delivering mental health forums, workshops, training and other interventions. You might assist with the triage of referrals, and supports external colleagues and families with advice and signposting information and expertise.
Experience of working with children and young people is essential, and experience of working with young people with mental health challenges is desirable.
This post is a 0.6 post (22.5 hours). The ability to work a Tuesday is essential.

Main duties of the job
You will provide support to the team via the use of IT, and administrative skills. You will support the collection and analysis of data, will develop rolling programmes of intervention with the team, work within the Single Point of Access, support work shops, initial assessments, school mental health forums , group work.
