Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Administrator/Workflow Coder to join Shakespeare Road Medical Practice, a forward thinking and innovative GP group providing primary care services for 13,500 patients. You will need to be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, be organised and have the ability to work as part of an integrated multi-skilled team, within a fast-paced environment. Flexibility is essential along with an understanding, acceptance, and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality.
As a team player, you'll be able to prioritise your work in order to meet deadlines and have a customer focused approach. Previous experience of working within the NHS is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
To provide coding administration to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the practice whilst always providing good customer service experience for all patients. Support the practice and provide cross-cover support to other sites across the Primary Care division as required.
Ensure a friendly and professional ethos within the team/department for patients.
