Health Care Support Worker
Hours: Part-time (22.5per week) and Full time (37.5per week).
Elmleigh Hospital, Havant.
Band: 2
We are looking for compassionate individuals with a genuine interest in mental health recovery at Elmleigh Hospital for the role(s) of Health Care Support Worker.
Previous experience is not required. It is an advantage if the candidate has an understanding of the mental illness and working in a clinical or hospital environment.

Elmleigh is a 33 bedded adult acute mental health hospital situated in Havant. Elmleigh is made up of two wards, Blue Bay (Male Ward) and Red Bay (Female Ward). In addition to these acute wards, Elmleigh also holds a place of safety in our urgent care zone.
*Early: 07:00 -- 15:00
*Middle: 09:00 -- 17:00
*Late: 12:00 -- 20:00
*Twilight: 16:00 -- 00:00
*Night: 19:30 -- 07:00
-Ward managers, PDN's and Team Leads work along side you to enable coaching and support during your shift.
-Midday training sessions are facilitated 7 days a week. This in-house training includes NEWS2, risk management, care planning, diabetes, reflective practice, DBT skills and many more topics.
Main duties of the job
As a Healthcare Support Worker you will provide physical and psychological care to service users in accordance with the specified plan of clinical care. You will carry out
duties as designated by the person in charge and accurately record patient/service user information. In addition to this, you will provide support to relatives/carers.
