We are pleased to be able to offer an unique opportunity to be part of a new pilot online pulmonary rehabilitation programme, providing high-quality exercise and education to respiratory service users from across the Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight region, hosted by Southern Health.

The successful applicant will be supported to deliver this pilot via a predominantly online platform and outside of traditional work hours which would suit someone looking for a flexible working pattern. You may also work alongside colleagues to support face-to-face pulmonary rehabilitation delivery across West Hampshire and assist with the Accreditation process of Pulmonary Rehabilitation services within the Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight region.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven exercise professional to join our small, friendly multi-disciplinary team to assess and deliver high standard of exercise programs to a range of respiratory patients within our pulmonary rehabilitation pathways across the region.

To be successful in the role you will need to be able to evidence excellent communication skills and be committed to excellence in the workplace. You will be eager to engage respiratory patients in a range of exercise programs to improve their physical status, wellbeing and quality of life. You will be supported in your role by experienced (and friendly) respiratory clinicians, as well as have fantastic peer support from fellow exercise professionals working across the locality. Encouragement and opportunities will be given to further develop your skills and knowledge to enhance respiratory care and optimise patient experience.

A car driver is essential as the post will involve travelling across the area.

If you are looking for an exciting new opportunity to dynamically deliver and develop an innovative, high quality patient focussed programme that will address health inequalities and make real-world difference to individuals, do not miss out on this opportunity and apply today!
