Job summary
We are pleased to be able to offer an unique opportunity to be part of a new pilot online pulmonary rehabilitation programme, providing high-quality exercise and education to respiratory service users from across the Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight region, hosted by Southern Health.
The successful applicant will be supported to deliver this pilot via a predominantly online platform and outside of traditional work hours which would suit someone looking for a flexible working pattern. You may also work alongside colleagues to support face-to-face pulmonary rehabilitation delivery across West Hampshire and assist with the Accreditation process of Pulmonary Rehabilitation services within the Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight region.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven person to assist our specialist exercise professional and respiratory clinicians to deliver a high standard of exercise programme to a range of respiratory patients within our pulmonary rehabilitation pathways across the region.
To be successful in the role you will need to be able to evidence a high standard of communication skills and be committed to excellence in the workplace. You will help engage respiratory patients in a range of exercise programs to improve their physical status, wellbeing and quality of life. You will need a very good standard of IT knowledge and skills to support delivering the programme via an online platform and support the administrative aspect for the pilot.
This is an incredibly rewarding role where you will receive training and support to fulfil the requirements of the position.
A car driver is essential as the post will involve travelling across the area.
