We provide therapy for patients on our functional and organic wards, plus some follow up in the community to our discharged patients.

The Therapy Team currently consists of a Band 7 Occupational Therapist (OT), Band 6 OT, Band 6 physiotherapist and two band 3 therapy technicians. This new position will work initially under the supervision of the Band 7 to provide assessments and interventions, primarily on Rose ward. However, the aim is to work, as needed, across both wards, supporting therapy colleagues and recovery workers based on each ward.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Occupational Therapist and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). They should have some experience of working in mental health and be positive and passionate about working with this client group.

Ideally, we are looking for a full-time member of staff who will complement our existing supportive and friendly Therapy Team. The working week consists of Monday -- Friday, we do not currently work on bank holidays.
