Job summary
Trinity Ward is a 16 bedded Female Acute Inpatient Ward serving the Southampton area. We promote nurses to have a powerful voice within MDT with a continuous drive for improvement by staff.
To help our staff thrive, we offer regular, good quality supervision, appraisals, in-depth training and development opportunities.
This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for the right candidate to become involved in the continuous development of a proactive and forward-thinking team. This post holder will be an expert practitioner, and a source of expert advice. Are you an experienced band 5, with sound clinical knowledge, and conducts themselves as a positive role model, who leads by example? Are you already practicing as a charge nurse who demonstrates personal integrity, with high clinical standards, and is looking to further develop professionally, or take on a new challenge. We are seeking keen and motivated professionals who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a "can do" attitude. There has never been a more exciting time to join our team as we are currently in the process or transforming and developing this service, which is something you could be part of. Main duties of the job
To assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care needs of a specific group of service users.
To mentor, supervise and teach qualified and unqualified staff including students
To manage the clinical area on a shift by shift basis.
To lead the care for a specified group of service users.
To participate in the recruitment, deployment and management of staff.
