Community Inpatient Occupational Therapist
Band 5
37.5 hrs full time .
Gosport War Memorial Hospital
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and friendly inpatient rehabilitation team at Gosport War Memorial Hospital.
You will work alongside a dynamic multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality care and rehabilitation. You will use your skills and experience to provide individualised rehabilitation programmes to patients with a range of functional and rehabilitative needs, who are either recovering from an acute episode of care or step up from the community. Focus will be on innovative rehabilitation programmes that enable safe discharge with ongoing plans being met through our community integrated enablement services.
You will have a clear understanding of patients with long term conditions and should be able to demonstrate a high level of clinical assessment and reasoning, as well as being able to demonstrate experience of rehabilitation through group work and individualised programmes.
You will need to be confident and assertive with excellent personal skills and have the ability to demonstrate these in a pressurised environment.
There are CPD opportunities around service development as well as structured supervision, peer support groups and appraisals.
