Job summary
We are looking for an experienced HR professional, capable of working autonomously, using their professional judgement, specialist knowledge and influencing skills, to support the resolution of employee relations issues. Working in a complex, challenging and fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on a range of issues including health and absence management, conduct, grievance, discrimination, bullying & harassment, flexible working, and performance.
Applicants should be CIPD qualified (Level 5), with experience of advising and coaching managers through a range of employee relations issues, interpreting policies/procedures, and applying a sound knowledge of employment law. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with a proven track record of building strong and trusting relationships. You should be capable of dealing with a number of competing priorities and focused on resolving employee relations cases effectively and efficiently, in line with agreed quality and performance indicators.

Main duties of the job
The Employee Relations Advisor will support the provision of high quality, specialist employee relations advice and conflict resolution services for managers and staff within the Trust to promote a fair and just culture.
Working in a highly complex, challenging and fast-paced environment, the post holder will be responsible for supporting employee relations cases, providing advice and guidance to line managers on a range of issues including health and absence management, conduct, grievance, discrimination, bullying & harassment, flexible working, and performance.
The post holder will be an experienced professional capable of dealing with a number of competing priorities and using professional knowledge and judgement to utilise best practice systems, policies and processes that ensure consistent, robust, and timely support to enable employee relations cases to be managed efficiently, in line with agreed quality and performance indicators.
