We are currently recruiting for a flexible member staff to join our Podiatry Outpatients Administration Team based within Hampshire. This role can be located at any of the following sites, Avalon House in Winchester. Andover War Memorial Hospital or Bramblys Grange in Basingstoke. The role is a full position and we work on a shift basis of 8am-5pm Monday to Friday so you still get to enjoy a full weekend to relax in this stunning part of the UK.

Main duties of the job

We require an Administration Assistant to join our team delivering a smooth and efficient administration service to support the Podiatry Outpatient Services for Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. You will be working within a busy but friendly and rewarding environment, as you will be contributing to the patient receiving their care. You will ensure that patients' appointments/ follow ups are booked in a timely and professional manner; also ensuring associated paperwork is processed efficiently.

If you can demonstrate strong administration and excellent customer service skills, then you may be our ideal candidate.

Knowledge of NHS computer systems or other booking systems is preferable but full training will be provided.

In order to ensure that we provide a patient focused service, an excellent telephone manner is essential as is the ability to work calmly under pressure and to use your initiative. You will need to demonstrate a flexible approach to ensure that tasks are carried out.

Providing the best service to our patients is vital and you will therefore be passionate about patient care and customer service.
