Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a flexible and dynamic individual to join our Administration Service based within Mid & North Hampshire.

The role is based at Avalon House in Winchester. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.

The service is 7 days a week - so occasional weekend working, and bank holidays is included within this role. Our service works flexibly between Base and Home working.

Main duties of the job

The successful post holder will assist in delivering a smooth and efficient administration service, working within a demanding but rewarding environment, contributing to patient care. You will ensure that patient's Telephone calls and Referrals are dealt with in a timely and professional manner. The post holder will proactively and positively contribute to the successful overall performance of the Trust. Providing the best service to our patients is vital and you will therefore be passionate about patient care and customer service.

In order to ensure we provide a patient focused service, an excellent telephone manner is essential, as is the ability to work calmly under pressure and to use your initiative. You will need to demonstrate a flexible approach to ensure tasks are carried out and service specific guidelines are met.
