Secondment Opportunity OPMH Administration Team Leader, B4. Southwest Hampshire Division.

Full time or part time

Base: Lymington or Eastleigh.

Regular travel across SW Division OPMH team bases.

This is an exciting and interesting secondment opportunity for the successful candidate to take on the role of OPMH Administration Team Leader, to effectively lead, coordinate and line manage the Med Sec teams based within the OPMH teams at Lymington Hospital (shortly moving to South Efford House), at Rushington, Totton, and at Newtown House, Eastleigh. The team is also supporting the MAS pilot and there will be an opportunity to be involved in the development of administration pathways for this expanding service.

The successful candidate will require excellent interpersonal skills, time management, and be prepared to travel across the division to the three OPMH sites on a regular weekly basis.

This secondment is for an initial period until 31 December 2023.

Main duties of the job

*Organise and line manage the OPMH Medical Secretaries and Administrators to ensure a safe, seamless, efficient and effective service

*Monitor ordering of supplies and equipment

*Monitor and ensure all OPMH referrals are processed correctly and within timescales

*Manage OPMH typing workload across South West Division, prioritise as appropriate to avoid breaches, and effectively ensure targets are met

*Manage compliance with any Subject Access Requests as required

*Oversight of the health and safety of the workforce and the premises

*Provide an effective and responsive service to other health and social care professionals

*Organise and provide effective administrative support to the OPMH Teams

*Ensure governance and confidentiality guidelines and requirements are fully adhered to

*Provide a flexible and responsive service according to the needs of the organisation to ensure service delivery standards are maintained at all times across the South West Hampshire division

*The post holder will also be expected to work closely with other staff in secretarial and administrative support roles within the Division attending meetings where necessary and sharing information and best practice to ensure that effective administrative and support systems are in place across the service.

*Work flexibly across the localities as required

*Promote better patient care at all times and utilise resources as efficiently as possible

  • RSA 2 Word processing, Audio Typing, or equivalent or evidence of this standard
