Job summary

Are you passionate about education and training, do you have excellent people skills, are you confident enough to present in front of senior clinical and support staff?

If so, we are looking for a highly motivated individual who can take forward our statutory and mandatory objectives in Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust (SHFT).

Main duties of the job

You will provide specialist Moving and Handling clinical support, advice and guidance, education and training to all Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust employees regarding clients/patients of all ages with complex needs.

The post holder will report to the Head of Health, Safety and Security.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Manual handling trainer qualification e.g ROSPA, City & Guilds
  • Experience of training relating to ergonomics / back care
  • Clear evidence of on-going continuing professional development
  • Degree level education, or equivalent Specialist knowledge experience
  • Masters level education or equivalent experience - demonstrating post graduate education such as ILS/ALS course
