Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptionally experienced, dynamic and forward-thinking individual to become the Divisional Director for the South West Hampshire Division within the Trust on a substantive basis.
Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust (SHFT) provides specialist mental health services, learning disability services, community physical health services including community hospitals and specialist inpatient units, and primary care across Hampshire from over 300 sites employing a team of 6,500 staff.
The South West Division of Hampshire is aligned to the local health systems and networks of GP surgeries, the Division provides community and hospital based care for people with physical and mental health needs across a large geography at a number of locations, serving a diverse population.

Main duties of the job
If you are a leader with a collaborative and partnership style of working and wish to help us to create the very best clinical care we would like to hear from you. The post holder will be required to have a 'can do', proactive approach, inspire, motivate and be able to foster exceptional working relationships with system partners, colleagues/peers and within the Divisional structures.
Our aim is to work alongside the people we support (and our health and care partners) to deliver the best possible care and constantly improve. Having also gained University status, we have an active research department and are a teaching trust, delivering training to students/trainees from a range of clinical backgrounds.
