Job summary

EXCITING NEWS: We are pleased to announce that we are in a position to offer a 'Golden Hello' payment £2500 (pro rata) to this vacancy in our Rushmoor Health Visiting Team and Hart Health Visiting Team to successful candidates. We currently have full time posts available (37.5 hours) and would consider 30 hours. Golden Hello payments are only eligible to the following working hours:

37.5 hours would be eligible for a £2500 payment* successful candidates from outside of Hampshire and Isle of Wight! ***

30 hours would be eligible for a £2000 payment* successful candidates from outside of Hampshire and Isle of Wight! ***

Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust has created an exciting opportunity for health visitors to undertake a specialist health visitor role within our health visiting teams providing, specialist knowledge, supervision, advice and support to team members working with communities, families and individuals with additional needs and vulnerabilities. These roles will hold a caseload with capacity to deliver the expert specialist role to team members.

We are looking for Specialist Health Visitors to support team members by providing safeguarding supervision as a key function of the role and expert support with complex report writing, inter-agency referrals and attendance at statutory and multi-agency meetings.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a number of qualified health visitors who wish to develop their clinical skills while maintaining a caseload. We need individuals with inspirational and motivational behaviors, highly skilled in communication, with a strong approach to teamwork. These individuals will be those who can lead the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme while using their expertise to ensure better outcomes for our more vulnerable families. Working as a team player, your role will require excellent assessment and analysis skills and effective partnership working.

The role will strengthen safeguarding knowledge and skills within the team, focussing on assessment, analysis of need, care planning and service delivery which improve public health outcomes for children and families and reduce risk of future health inequalities.
