We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join the Central Community Mental Health Team, based at College Keep. You would be joining a large, friendly, hard-working team who strive to provide the best possible care for their patient group. We are happy to consider full time or part time applicants.
The Central Community Mental Health Team offers secondary care for adults aged 18 - 65 with severe and enduring mental health issues. This post will be part of an established, supportive administration team who support the clinicians and consultants with day-to-day activities as well as providing a compassionate and professional service to our clients. With a focus on staff wellbeing, we provide an inclusive, supportive place of work where you can grow and develop.
We are located near Oxford Street in Southampton City Centre which is close to the waterfront and Ocean Village.
Brief overview of the key elements:
*Providing first point of contact to service users
*Dealing with incoming emails
*Reception duties as required
*Providing administrative support to the wider clinical team
*Processing referrals
*Booking and amending appointments
*Typing of clinical correspondence

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised individual that can work well in a busy environment with conflicting demands. You will need to be a good team player, have a can-do attitude, and be able to show initiative.
We pride ourselves in delivering an efficient patient-focused service and therefore you will enjoy communicating with patients and have a respectful, caring manner. You will have a flair for handling high call volumes and need to have the capacity to manage complex, sensitive and confidential information.
The successful candidate will have strong administration skills and high attention to detail. IT knowledge and skills are essential as you will be using various Microsoft applications; Excel, Word and Outlook, as well as Electronic Patient Record systems such as RIO and Care Director (full training will be supplied). A good standard of literacy and numeracy is required, along with the ability to maintain accurate records to ensure the smooth running of the service.
