Job summary
Based near the stunning New Forest town of Lymington we are currently recruiting for an Apprentice administrator to join our friendly team.
We require an administration apprentice to join our team, delivering a smooth and efficient administration service to support Outpatient Services for Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. The successful post holder will be working within a demanding but rewarding environment, you will be contributing to the patient receiving their care. You will learn all aspects of the administration tasks needed to ensure that patients' appointments/ follow ups are booked in a timely and professional manner; also ensuring associated paperwork is processed efficiently. You may also need to assist with prepping of clinics and reception duties.
If you are keen and have a willingness to learn and undertake all tasks however big or small, then we would love to here from you and welcome you to our team.
Knowledge of computer systems would be preferable and after training you must be prepared to use the telephone to communicate with patients, GPs, and other hospitals.
Providing the best service to our patients is vital and you will therefore be passionate about patient care and customer service.

Main duties of the job
This is a training post for 18 months. During this apprenticeship you will be trained to undertake the duties in the job description.
To provide a comprehensive administration service across Elective Services.
To obtain a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner qualification.
To work across the teams within the Trust to support patient's ongoing care.
To work with the teams to provide a service data collecting and reporting for Department of Health and NHS targets.
To carry out duties within the Trusts Information Governance procedures and guidance.
