An exciting opportunity has arisen within Southern Health Foundation Trust (SHFT) to appoint an efficient and motivated Apprentice Team Administrator to work within our 0-19 Children and Family Services team. Children and Family 0-19 Service are looking for an apprentice to join the service to support our administratation staff. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake and complete a level 2/3 (dependant on experience) customer service apprenticeship whilst working in a busy office.
This post will be fully funded with 20% of the working week undertaking NVQ supported studies. The other 80% of the week you will be supporting the 0-19 Children and Family teams.
The Team Administrator is integral to providing comprehensive administrative support to the clinicians who support the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) to children, young people and families living within Hampshire.
With a positive approach to customer care you will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, prioritise your workload and manage your time efficiently.
Main duties of the job
The Team Administrator will work in collaboration with the clinical and non-clinical team members and will have responsibility for managing the administrative process for booking appointments, managing referrals and transfers in and out of the team using the Open RiO electronic patient system, in accordance with standard operating procedures.
The Team Administrator will work closely with the Line Manager for delegation of day-to-day duties, with the Area Administrative Lead having overall management responsibility for administrative processes within the team.
The Team Administrator will provide an excellent customer service experience for clients and stakeholders and will be expected to represent the Children and Family Services in a positive and professional manner at all times.
