Job summary
We are seeking to recruit a part time band 3, Administrator to join the Continence Team at Parklands House, London Road, Basingstoke, working 15 hours per week, hours and days to be negotiated at interview.
As part of this demanding role, we shall expect you to deliver a high standard of administration skills providing support to the Specialist Continence Team. Duties will include data input to assist with product provision, booking clinic appointments, following service guidelines and standards, dealing with a high number of telephone queries, using Rio (the Trust's electronic information system) and other data base systems, communicating with service users and healthcare professionals.
As a team player, you will be able to prioritise your work in order to meet deadlines and the demands of the service and have a customer-focused approach, understanding of the issues of confidentiality with the ability to empathise with service users and deal with them in a tactful and diplomatic way. Full training will be provided.

Must be flexible, as you may need to travel across the Trust, therefore, a car driver and access to a car is essential for this post.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as part of the Hub Admin team giving support to the Continence Service, in line with Data Protection and Service Guidelines. To work under the supervision of the Hub Admin Supervisor. Responsibilities will include, data input (Rio and other database systems), accuracy and attention to detail is essential. To receive and input referrals, Care Homes, and product reviews. To book clinical appointments. To liaise with patients, service users, carers, and staff. To deal with the high volume of telephone and email queries most related to product provision. Much of this role is non-patient facing with most contact made by telephone or by email.
