We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, committed hardworking, flexible, and solution-focused individual to join the Clinical Education Team within Learning, Education and Development. (LEAD).

This is a great opportunity for you to share and develop your clinical skills and knowledge in delivering education to meeting the continuing professional development needs of staff and to ensure staff can have the confidence to deliver high quality care.

In-house training and support will be provided to assist your development into this role.

This post requires you to share your existing clinical experience, skills and knowledge and support the development of all staff in the delivery of core clinical skills training in a variety of settings across the divisions and within the Trust. This educational role allows flexibility to be classroom based and practiced based to assist with the development of staff competencies, thus supporting you to maintain your own professional practice.

Managed by the Team Lead the post holder will work with minimal supervision, to support individuals in developing clinical competency to fulfil national and local standards and guidelines.

Main duties of the job

To deliver training programmes to support the education and professional development of clinical staff across Southern Health and where appropriate external organisations.

The post holder (following in-house training and support within the role) will be expected to design, deliver, and evaluate training programmes for clinical skills to meet the learning requirements for the work force

Education/ Training sessions required for delivery will be identified through a variety of processes including training needs analysis, service development reviews, Care Quality Commission quality reports, bespoke requests, and clinical audits.

The post holder will support staff and students within divisions to development competency in practice and identify any training requirements required for the future.
