Job summary
We are looking to recruit a Clerical Officer in the Medical Records Library at Southport Hospital, however you may be required to work across the trust.
The successful applicants will be responsible for dealing with telephone requests for case notes and locating and providing case-notes for all emergency admissions, clinics as well as the re-filing of all case-notes back into the department.
Main duties of the job
Other general clerical duties will also be undertaken as required. The Medical Records department is currently in the process of changing from a paper record to an electronic record.You must:o You should have excellent keyboard skills and knowledge of the Hospital Medway system.o Ideally have some experience working within a Medical records department. o Good communication and telephone skills and the ability to work independently are also essential.
