Southport & Ormskirk NHS Trust has an exciting opportunity for an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion champion.
This is a 9 month fixed term contract.
Working with a range of stakeholders across our Trust, the post holder willprovide specialist support, advice and interpretation on equality legislation and the relevant Trust Policies and Procedures.
Acting as the Trust expert on all Equality, Diversity and Human Rights matters, the post holder will provide energy and momentum to our drive to become a truly inclusive and compassionate employer.

- Management level experience of managing and developing the Equality, Diversity and Human Rights legislation (equivalent to Masters Level)
- Experience of presenting information and delivering training packages using a variety of methods
- Interpretation of employment legislation in policy procedure and practice
- Experience of recruitment and retention initiatives linked to E&D
- Partnership working with trade unions
