The closing date is 25 June 2025

Job summary

The Workforce Information Team is advertising for a permanent, part-time (22.5 hours) position.

This is an exciting role that will allow you to gain new or to expand your knowledge of the NHS Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system.

To help support the Trust we also provide Workforce related information.

This is a Hybrid post working from home and from the base at Flatts Lane Centre.

You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.

Main duties of the job

Applicants must possess a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in business administration or have equivalent experiential learning. They must also have a general knowledge of office and or human resources procedures and a working knowledge of using excel spreadsheets. Experience of using core ESR and experience of ESR reporting functionality is desirable.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of working with computer based packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, email, Internet based systems and applications.

As the department works very much as a team, applicants will need to demonstrate their ability to work as a team player whilst being flexible in their approach.

The post equally demands communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work under pressure, the attributes required to work on their own initiative and the ability to maintain confidentially in all areas of their work.

About us

The Workforce Information Team is a very small and friendly team.

They are integral to the Trust in relation to getting staff hired into their positions and ensuring that all DBS and Professional Registration checks are completed.
