Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contractor Escort to join our Estates Team and undertake Contractor Escort Duties within the Trust for a period of 12 months, ensuring the safety of all patients, staff, visitors and contractors.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Applicants must ensure that prior to applying they have agreement from their current line manager that they can be released on a secondment basis. In the event that permanent funding is secured for this post the successful applicant will be confirmed in post on a permanent basis.
Main duties of the job
The successful post-holder will be deployed to escort contractors, workmen and services engineers to their place of work within the Trust andremain with them for the duration of the work period. The post holders will ensure the safety of tools and materials within the secure area and willhave a full working knowledge of the hospital's Security Regulations governing the conduct of all contractors, workmen and service engineers.
