Job summary
The Trust Employee Psychology Service is a 9-5pm Mon-Fri service that provides support to help employees recover from, and develop resilience to, work-related stress and trauma. We are currently seeking a Band 7 Applied Psychologist/Psychological Therapist/CBT Therapist to work within the Service. The role is Trust wide and will involve direct therapeutic activities and some liaison/co-working with the Employee Support Service. The successful candidate will be registered with a professional body (HCPC, GMC, NMC, SW-E) or have BABCP KSA accreditation, be committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of employees and have experience of providing a range of psychological interventions for trauma, anxiety, stress and depression etc.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will report directly to the Clinical Lead for Health and Well-being and will be required to offer online video appointments and face-to-face appointments at the Flatts Lane Centre, Middlesbrough as required for individual colleagues and team support. The main duties are to provide direct therapeutic activities for staff and there are also opportunities to contribute to trust wide initiatives to support staff well-being.
