Job summary
We have a post available within the Tees Crisis Triage and Assessment hub and we are looking for passionate, skilled qualified clinician to join us.
The team provides crisis services to adults within the Teesside area, providing a 24 hour crisis line, initial assessments, a gate keeping role for adult acute admissions and a place of safety for those detained on section 136 by police.
Main duties of the job
The team operates over 24 hours, 7 day a week, 11.15 hour shifts.
This is a band 5 post open to registered nurses, occupational therapists and social workers with current relevant registration with the NMC, HCPC or SWE
You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team and there is ample opportunity to develop and enhance your existing clinical skills. You will receive regular supervision and there are good training opportunities.
As a member of the team you will provide a service to those individuals who present with a mental health crisis .Applicants should be highly motivated, have the ability to act on own initiative and have sound assessment and written skills.

- MIP, FLIP, ENB 998 Teaching & Assessing in Clinical Practice or City & Guilds 730 Teaching in Adult Education or willingness to work towards. Qualification must be achieved within agreed timescale.
