Scarborough ,Whitby and Rydale team are looking for a team manager to manage the community learning disability service . The team is a well established , friendly team who are forward thinking and welcoming to new starters
We are looking for a member of staff from all disciplines and professional background e.g. learning disabilities or adult mental health to take up this role .
We are happy to support new managers into the position so if you feel that you are ready for a new challenge and have the right skills but do have the experience we will support you through the transition as needed
The team comprises of nurses, OTs, Physios, SLT ,psychologists admin and psychiatry staff
The hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
Main duties of the job
The team manager will be responsible for all aspects of the service , they will be able to support staff, offering supervisions and appraisals whilst having a good understanding of the needs for the service to provide up to date data to help with the teams development

- Current professional registration with appropriate body in healthcare or social work or relevant professional clinical qualification (ie PWP/CWP in IAPT/Getting Help services)
- Be Educated to Master's level in leadership or a subject area relevant to the area of practice OR Have equivalent clinical experience to that of masters level such as working as a band 6 (or above) in relevant clinical area with significant experience - which also includes significant experience of managing people (see below under experience), together with evidence of CPD
- Be trained in Clinical Supervision and Providing Clinical Supervision
- Be a Recognised Practice Assessor/Practice Supervisor
