Job summary

The Harrogate Crisis Resolution and Intensive Home Treatment Team are seeking a full part time band 5 practitioners The post holder will be part of a resilient, welcoming and professional team who work collaboratively with internal and external partners to meet the needs of those who are experiencing a crisis in their mental health needs.

Applicants should already hold NMC registration and have successfully completed their preceptorship programme. Please note: Newly qualified Nurses or those due to qualify will be recruited via a separate process.

Main duties of the job

The team takes a recovery orientated, formulation driven approach which values shared decision making.

The team will be based at The Orchards Ripon, and operates over 24 hours, 7 day a week 12 hour shift working pattern.

The team are able to support newly qualified clinicians through the preceptorship programme.

Successful applicants will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team and there is ample opportunity to develop and enhance your existing clinical skills. You will receive regular supervision and there are good training opportunities.

The team are also responsible for gatekeeping admissions to the acute admission ward as well as supporting bed management.

  • To be recognised practice assessor / mentor or work towards in an agreed timescale
  • Trained Clinical Supervisor (within 6 month probationary period)
