Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated registered nurse to join our Middlesbrough day services team supporting individuals with complex learning disabilities and physical health problems. This role will involve working in partnership with Middlesbrough council staff to meet the needs of individuals access the service. The role will also require cross cover as needed in our sister day service in Brotton and our wider short term care services across Teesside.
Candidates must have 18 months post qualifying experience including sign off of appropriate preceptorship or competency framework.
Main duties of the job
The team provide specialist care and treatment for adults with learning disabilities, providing hands on care, assessment of physical health and social needs alongside overseeing registered nurses and healthcare assistants.
Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

About us
RDR services work consistently to provide care and treatment to adults with learning disabilities although there is primary need for a clinical lead at The Orchard day service there will also be an need for the successful candidate to spend some time across other services which include Unit 2 and Aysgarth respite services, Day services at Kilton View and Thornaby Road residential service.
