Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two part-time Team Administrator/Receptionists to join our friendly front-of-house and administration team at Selby Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, based at Worsley Court.
These posts are part-time and will work hours to complement each other, ensuring that there is sufficient reception cover during core office hours of Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Selby CAMHS is located at Worlsey Court, which is located on the site of Selby War Memorial Hospital. As such it has easy access to public transport. Equally there is ample parking available.
Previous NHS experience not essential.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for friendly, customer-focussed Administrator /Receptionists to join a small administration team. Reception duties include greeting children and young people, their families and carers, staff and visitors to the building. Similarly they will be answering queries via telephone and email. The ability to be able to adapt their communication approach, remain calm and communicate clearly is essential as well as promoting a positive culture for children and young people living with mental health issues.
The successful candidate will be expected to perform basic admin tasks, coordinate room bookings, update clinic lists, create and send appointment letters, maintain visitor logs, issue access cards, deal with incoming & outgoing post, photocopying and ensure that all information in the reception area for staff and public is clearly displayed and updated as appropriate.

We are the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, who offers support to children and young people from the age of 5 to 18. We offer support to children and young people who require specialist assessment and intervention for a mental health need. The service also offers specialist diagnostic assessments for Autism and ADHD, and we offer post-diagnostic support for young people diagnosed with ADHD.
We are small, friendly team of supportive staff who work tightly with our administration team.

- Key skills/functional skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 OR O Level (Grade C and above/New GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9) are an essential requirement to be fully competent in the role.
