Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Higher Assistant Psychologist to work within the Scarborough Integrated Community team. This is a full-time, permanent post and offers the successful candidate an opportunity to work both clinically and at a service development level.
The successful applicant must have a good honours degree in psychology. Significant experience of working with a range of mental health difficulties. It is essential for this post, as is experience of working in a mental health setting. You must be motivated, possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Main duties of the job
Working under the supervision of an Applied Psychologist, the role involves (as a minimum):
Supporting the delivery of Informed psychological interventions including Managing emotions, Managing Trauma, Depression and anxiety.
Working with experts by experience to support co-production
Collecting data across a range of activities, analysis and presentation of this data to inform the development of the Service
Attending MDT meetings as appropriate.
