TEWV is currently engaged in the implementation of an innovative Electronic Patient Record system as part of the National Frontline Digitisation strategy. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Technology Services. We're looking for an experienced, dynamic innovator with a passion for transformation of clinical services through digital implementation, possessing a track record of success in leading Digital and Data services. Main duties of the job

As the Head of Technology Services at Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technological vision and strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing our technology systems, ensuring they align with business objectives, and driving innovation in our digital landscape. Importantly you will understand how you deliver your role well will support the delivery of high quality care.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the technology team, including recruiting, mentoring, and developing talent.
  • Develop and implement technology strategies to support the company's overall business objectives.
  • Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance our products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our technology infrastructure and systems.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for technology products and services.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform decision-making.
