Co-creation is one of our Trust's priorities. This role will enable us to seek out and act upon the voices of the people we work in a genuine, committed and meaningful way, so that together we can together improve the care that people receive.
The MHSOP PCCG is a key source of important insight and is instrumental in meaningful collaboration and co-production. This role is responsible for the effective management of the PCCG, ensuring that it remains relevant in the context of our changing service and Trust goals and priorities it is involved in and that the forum reflects the diversity of our patient and carer population.

- Coordinate & advertise PCCG meetings/activities across NYY&S MHSOP, identify & coordinate speakers attending PCCG, supporting them to: use accessible content promoting inclusion & to engage with members in a meaningful, interactive way. Co-creation starts during consideration of an opportunity, through planning, implementation, & evaluation. Speakers should be encouraged to pitch potential improvement ideas to the PCCG as the very first step when a potential improvement idea is identified.
- Recruit new PCCG members, from a range of diverse backgrounds & needs, including those most likely to face health inequalities, through engagement activities within & outside PCCG.
- Support PCCG members in a person-centred way before, during, after meetings, & in between group activities (virtual touch points). In return, you will receive regular high-quality support/supervision from operational & clinical leaders.
- Support the members of the PCCG who hold specific roles e.g. Chair/Co-Chair.
- Support with internal 2-way flow of communication from PCCG, to Co-Creation Board. Sharing learning from activities, requesting additional support for local projects, & feeding information from Board to PCCG.
