Job summary

The post holder will work within the MHST and be a vital part of the development of Children's Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner/Educational Mental Health practitioner role within the team, offering both clinical and caseload supervision, alongside delivering intervention at a high-quality; brief outcome focused evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.

The post holder will be supported to attend continuing professional development sessions and link in with the university training programme for current and future CPWP's/EMHP's

Main duties of the job

To improve the lives of children and young people with mental ill health by minimising the impact of their condition through the delivery of excellent services to promote recovery and well-being.

To be compassionate in meeting the needs of children and young people and their carers.

To work as part of children and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS), working collaboratively and in partnership with multiple local partners.

To be professionally accountable and responsible for children and young people's care, undertaking a range of clinical/therapeutic interventions in patients' homes and other community

To promote social inclusion, community access and participation through the provision of children and young people's

To facilitate others in the team to develop competence within mental health by providing leadership, day to day supervision, clinical advice and clinical supervision to members of the integrated team as

To be committed to and take a lead role in activities integral to the Trust's Quality Improvement System.

To promote at all times a positive image of people with mental ill health. Deliver Clinical and Caseload Management Supervision.
