Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our security team within the Secure Inpatient Service. The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a team and have good verbal/written communication skills and IT skills. The post is full time, working 11 hour, 15 minute shifts which will incorporate working days and twilight shifts across a 7 day working week.
Main duties of the job
To implement appropriate physical and procedural security procedures to Ridgeway in accordance with Trust procedure with appropriate response to ensure the safety and security of the unit is not compromised. The role includes, but is not limited to the following duties:
Delivery of Security induction training to staff requiring access to Secure Inpatient Services.
Supervision of Control Room Operative team.
Patient and area searching as required.
Escorting within the secure perimeter where required.
Responding to assist with clinical incidents as required.
