Job summary

We are looking for a skilled, creative and organised communications officer to join our team for one-year fixed term maternity cover.

The communications officer will play a vital role in developing and managing our Trust intranet and website, creating and maintaining engaging and accessible content for both internal and external audiences.

They will be able to confidently review and understand our online analytics, helping us understand what we should focus on and why.

They will also create and deliver integrated communications campaigns on anything from reducing hate crime to the introduction of a new service within the Trust.

As a team, we are committed to continued professional development. This role includes membership to CIPR and access to their learning resources.

Our team is currently working remotely so there is the flexibility for home working - although there will be times when the role requires you to be in the office or working at one of our sites.

Main duties of the job

You must have experience working in a busy communications and/or digital marketing role.

You'll be be someone who can quickly and confidently get to grips with the demands of a big organisation - working on a number of different projects to support services across our Trust.

Experience of using intranets, websites and social media platforms is a must. You'll also understand how to ensure the information we share is accessible and engaging.

You will have experience of working with the media.

Filming/video editing skills are essential.
