Job summary

We are looking to employ a hardworking, conscientious individual who will work as Clinical Team Administrator within the team at Primrose Lodge.

Primrose Lodge is a 15 bedded community mental health rehabilitation unit based in Chester Le Street. We will be moving to a new 8 bedded unit in Shildon named Jubilee House in May 2023.

The successful candidate will be required to deal with both incoming and outgoing telephone calls, cashiering, aspects of diary management, arranging meetings and general office duties.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will ideally have an awareness of mental health issues and will be able to demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work. They will have an eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy. They will be able to effectively and clearly communicate with colleagues, service users and their families.

As a team player, you'll be able to prioritise your work in order to meet deadlines and have a customer focused approach. Previous experience of working within the NHS is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

You are required to have NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent (or willingness to achieve within an agreed timescale) ITQ Level 2 or equivalent or willingness to work towards,Key skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 or O Level / GCSE in Maths and English grade C or above, experience of working in a busy administrative environment and be proficient in the use of MSOffice with experience of patient records systems.
