Job summary
We are looking to recruit a full time enthusiastic and highly motivated receptionist to work at York CAMHS, Orca House, York.
The role will require you to interact compassionately with patients and carers at all times.
The role also requires you to show commitment to and participate in quality improvement activities.
You will need to promote at all times a positive image of people with mental health conditions.
The post holder is part of a team providing a comprehensive and efficient reception service for all patients, visitors and staff to the services.
You will need to be passionate and enthusiastic about patient care putting patients at the heart of everything you do.
You will be working in a multi-professional team and will need to be able to think independently and be empathetic. You will be passionate about our business, creating a culture of continuous improvement.
Main duties of the job
The reception team operate from 09.00am to 17.00pm Monday to Friday.
The post holder will be responsible for managing a busy reception area, providing a range of receptionist services to patients, staff and visitors. Maintain and update room booking systems for the site.
Applicants will need to have good interpersonal skills, and an ability to demonstrate a commitment to working within a team, be organised, positive, and able to promote the services. Training will be provided but previous reception experience and customer service would be preferable.
It is imperative that reception staff can remain calm under pressure and display impeccable customer service skills.
